Thank you Josh! I changed back to the old standard. That works.
Thank you, we are aware of this problem and are working to resolve it. These errors began happening when the Web IDE Beta was enabled by default. As a temporary workaround, you can update your user preferences -- https://opensource.ieee.org/-/profile/preferences -- by opting out of the Web IDE Beta. This will revert back to you using the Web IDE you have traditionally used.
GitLab now incorporates Visual Code Studio as the WebIDE editor but the WebIDE editor function is not working. It may not be configured correctly. I get an error message that says "Unable to resolve resource gitlab-web-ide:'saopen.ieee-saopen.org' for example. It's not just that project. It happens on others like the DevOps project located here:https://opensource.ieee.org/saopen/saopen-devops. Or any project on IEEE GitLab. I have only been able to edit a single file using the Edit button instead of WebIDE.
Functionality for mattermost has been restored.
I am experiencing issues accessing Mattermost.
I have tried accessing MM through the app and through the Chrome web browser.
I have updated the desktop app to the most recent version (5.3.1).
I have removed the IEEE SA OPEN MM server and readded it to the desktop app and the browser.
I consistently get the following behavior. I am sent to the "add team" page. I can circumvent this by going to the system console and then backing out to a team. However, in any team I can only see one channel at at time. Sometimes the content of the channel will load after an extended period of time, but often it does not. I can switch which channel is visible by searching in the "Find channel" search box, but again the channel shows as loading for a very long time and often does not resolve any content.
Jayashree, Silona and Raul have all reported similar issues.
Thank you, Josh!
Out Mattermost instance -- opensource-connect.ieee.org -- is currently not working. Our current estimate is that it will be restored by 16:00 EDT on 6 April 2023.
